If only your grandfather told you more about the war so you can understand the real meaning of peace. So you can really feel the pain of the wartime generations and try to heal the gaps on your visit other countries. If only your father had mentioned his hardships of speaking a foreign language rather than force you to learn his native tongue so as not to polarise you into a nationalist dualistic mindset away from your mother tongue.
Some things were kept from you - to protect you - any parents desire of their offspring. Maybe you grew up in an idealistic world until you started to realise the truth of the matter. There were missing pieces of your cultural background that were taken for granted and not verbally passed down. That prevented you from understanding your part to play within your multicultural upbringing. You had to compensate for the gaps through your own effort in learning how to measure up, according to both the new and old cultural values. Something within you always felt incomplete despite the search. You couldn’t quite pin down which part of it mattered.
Every new generation brings change.
Every new generation has been both an inspiration and a threat to the existing. As they often talk about “the younger ones these days,” we have heard someone say to ourselves as a youth how we do not measure up or perhaps we have said it to others, our own children as we grow older, and we carry much of this family baggage throughout our lives. Family history is one of the most deepest and hardest to heal because it is so ingrained in who we are. We hardly dare to remove ourselves from it, and yet there is a longing to be free. Some things are never spoken of which keeps the pattern handed down through generations obscure and kept in the dark.
During our younger years we are still learning this thing called life - survival of the fittest, relationships, power struggles, and sharing our resources together. We also carry with us the imprint of past lives, parallel lives, and hope of the future. It is a vast storage of data that comprises who we think is “I.” What we define as success in the world is culturally imprinted and passed down through family values. Some things do get lost in translation and other things erode with time but we spend a vast amount of energy upholding these visions of what is “right” from many diverse resources - family, country of origin, education, and country where living now.
We are at the point of the newest evolution of mankind in history. The times are showing a sort of societal weeding of the old values being replaced by the new on a global scale. It will trigger a reaction to create a strong order at the same time it will induce more true humanitarian values and freedom for us all. One force is always met with another until the two become integrated. So has been the history of mankind. It is also the evolution that happens within our individual selves.
We are the change of the generation.
We are born with an agenda to be a force of change in our worlds in our own unique ways. It is coded within our DNA to survive and anything that differs from our beliefs systems and values can feel like it needs fixing until you realise that this breakdown is part of the plan.
We didn’t plan this consciously. We are living out our puzzle piece in the grand scheme of the universe that was passed down to you through your descent into human form and the incarnational blueprint passed on to you. They are the building blocks to set you on your current paths of healing and liberation. Where there is destruction is always followed by revolution. The pattern you need to break will be the blocking pattern which shows up when you try to embrace the real you.
You were perhaps chosen to resurrect the nutritional eating habits based on traditions passed down through history. You were perhaps chosen to embrace healing for the traumas of families who still carry historical wartime pain within their incarnational lineage. You perhaps dealt with adversity in crossing cultures and the only things that kept you going was to be accepted by your father.
It is only as we start to reach the second half of life that the true path we are on starts to reveal itself. Everything else actually had been a preparation to get you here, so that you have the skills, knowledge, and resources on how to instill such change in the world within the impact that is in your reach.
Be true to ourselves.
That is all we need to do.
So it is also our collective blueprint to evolve the consciousness of the planet. We collectively do this day to day within our daily interactions. The best you can do is be You. Be the You who you dreamt of being and you also heal the planet.
